UNI has the following components:

1. Unvired Sync Agent on SAP NetWeaver:

The Unvired Sync Agent takes care of the communication and exchange of data between SAP NetWeaver 7.1 / DOE and the Unvired Client Runtime on the Windows Mobile devices / laptops.

2. Unvired Client Runtime:

The device runtime provides a common platform for the business processes on the mobile devices. The client runtime takes care of the following allowing the business processes to concentrate on the business logic:
a. Data Model
b. Synchronization – both foreground and background synchronization
c. Persistence
d. User Interface

3. Unvired Development Toolset:

Rapidly build and deploy business applications using the Unvired development toolset. Simple application can be developed in 1 to 2 weeks end to end.

a. Component Designer: Designer automatically creates the basic classes like View/Form and the supporting Model class and Controller class via wizards. The application developer only needs to fill-in the method implementations for the desired behavior. This auto generation is purely based on the MVP design pattern. If the UI needs to be changed to a new technology like WPF / Silverlight in future, only the View/Form classes only needs to be alerted.

b. Data Modeler: Using Data Modeler plug-in wizards in Microsoft Visual Studio, developers can import the Mobile Data Objects (DO) definitions and its attributes selectively from the SAP NetWeaver 7.1 / DOE server. The Data Modeler creates a complete database, schema and generates the data access layer automatically based on the database table properties like read-only tables, fields, referential key constraints, cascade delete on header delete etc. The generated data access layer offers all the APIs for read, insert, update and delete data into the database in various forms.

c. Application Builder: Build the application CAB file automatically from your project, provide the Mobile Component Descriptor (MCD) details, generate a .SDA file and deploy it on SAP NetWeaver 7.1 / DO using the application builder – all in one single step.
